Baby Girl #3

Baby Girl #3 officially has a name. She will now affectionately be known as Rebekah May Krum. Oh, how i love her so! We saw her move for the first time on my birthday night :) Happy Birthday to me!

I am getting excited about pink again, I think that I am actually going to make a girly nursery this time. Wow, I know a little crazy for me. I am VERY practical and frugal, I have always done unisex bedding with primary colors. Now don't worry I am not totally off my rocker, I am going to reuse some stuff. But I am throwing in some pink and I think that I am going to use the yellow gingham curtains that were in the girls room. The girls room is turning into the kids room, brother will be joining the mix. I will post pictures of the transformations once they are complete.

I go to the Dr. again next week and will update with more news then. That is the latest on our little Rebekah May. Please keep her in your prayers.

Merry Christmas 2009

We had a nice relaxing cold, but not white, Christmas at home. Our German neighbors, Karim and Kim, came to join us for the holiday celebrating. I LOVE to entertain and love the extra people around. Christmas Eve we had venison stew for dinner and then went to Christmas Eve service at our Church. Church was followed by a drive around to look at Christmas lights, I hope our friends were not disappointed, I know I was. People in Huntsville don't seem to get much into outdoor light :( I you knew the neighborhood that I grew up in you would understand my disappointed. We are talked wrapped tree trucks, themed streets and the works. We got the kids tucked in after a little bit of Christmas candy and us grown ups stayed up to the wee hours playing dominoes. Fun time!

After stockings on Christmas morning, in our matching PJs neighbors and all, we stuffed ourselves on my yummy Christmas breakfast. After breakfast we played and relaxed until nap time. Our Christmas viewing of "The Nativity Story", or "Baby Jesus in the Manger movie" as the kids call it was after nap and then we had a delicious Christmas dinner of ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, salad and rolls. The we decorated Jesus birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday before the kids dug in, all the grown ups were too full for dessert :)

We had a nice Krum Christmas for 2009. I hope you and yours had a great time celebrating the birth of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Christmas Candy

Christmas Candy is made and delivered. And it is Yum Yum! I made two of my regulars. "Puppy Chow"( but added peanut butter this year) and another candy that my mom used to make that we just called "Almond Bark"candy. I also tried a new recipe. I had some pecans that I wanted to use so I searched and found one that sounded like a delicious chocolate goodness.

I think the pecan candy may have turned out to be my favorite, I am glad I was not disappointed. Trey's favorite is the almond bark one and I think the girls like the puppy chow.

Here is a picture of the Christmas treats.

I hope that you are having fun with your Holiday baking or at the very least eating someones scrumptious treats. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Cinnamon Rolls

I did some baking this weekend.

Trey loves cinnamon rolls and so I have made them apart of out Christmas morning breakfast menu. I decided to try and find a yummy homemade recipe. Last years were not so yummy. So, I went on a search to find a delicious new recipe that would make every ones tummy happy. This is what I found... http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2007/06/cinammon_rolls_/

I got the dough all prepared on Saturday night and then woke up early on Sunday morning to roll and bake them. I halved the recipe so it made 3 pans instead of 7. So, 2 pans are in the freezer ready to be baked on Christmas morning. They were very time consuming but ended up delicious. Definitely worth the time and effort for our special Christmas morning breakfast.

If you have been looking for a new special recipe. Try giving this one a roll, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time :)

Birthday weekend

Happy Birthday to Me! I turned 29 on the 18th and I had a great day. Hannah told me Happy Birthday several times in the morning and in her sweetest voice said, "Can I please come to your Birthday Mama?"

Trey took a half day at work and we headed down to the Woodlands as a family. We had a nice time, it had been years since I had been to the mall. Really, since I was pregnant with Hannah and she just turned 3 :) WOW, how things change when you have 3 kiddos and the closest mall is almost an hour away.

As we were walking up to the mall, yes we had to park a little ways a way, Abigail asked, "Are all these people here for your birthday Mama?" How cute :) It was fun showing the kids all the Christmas decorations and looking at all of the pretty stuff. I got the beautiful ring from my parents sized at Avery, THANKS Mom and Dad :), and then we headed back North for dinner at Olive Garden. We had a yummy dinner and with no wait, Imagine that on a Friday night during the Holidays. I think we just beat the rush. After dinner My great Man surprised me with a bottle of my perfume. I am glad to be smelling sweet again! We put the very sleepy kids to bed and then Trey and I had some time to relax.

On Saturday our neighbors came over for their first backstrap dinner and we celebrated with a delicious Birthday cake that Trey got. It was YUMMY YUMMY Chocolate goodness! The birthday Monkey did a little singing too. We all love the birthday monkey, Its not officially a birthday until he does his little dance. I had a great birthday weekend, looking forward to another great year!

Hannah's 3rd b-day party

We had a great time at Hannah's birthday party on Saturday the 5th. She loves babies and this year she wanted a Baby Doll party. So, as usual Mama went all out and delivered her a fabulous baby party.

Hannah, Abigail, and Cater received new babies dolls and a "diaper" bag full of all the things they would need to take care of their new baby. Nurse Paula came and talked to them about their babies, gave them a check up and "taught" them all how to care of their babies. It was precious watching all the future mommies at work! After the fun with the babies Hannah opened her presents. Then we had spaghetti, one of her favorites, for lunch and sang and ate her Baby bottle cake.

We had a great time visiting with MomMom and Grandpa after the party. Then after a short nap, the Krum five headed to Huntsville. We went to Journey Through Bethlehem to see baby Jesus in the manger. We have made this a tradition as a part of Hannah's birthday celebration. We had another GREAT day celebrating our sweet Hannah.

Hannah's Birthday

Our Sweet Punkin Hannah turned 3 on December the 4th. She is so sweet and caring. Very emotional and empathetic toward others. She is very excited about having a little baby sister :) Even offered her bed, said the baby could just sleep with her.

She had a special white birthday this year as we got to play in the snow and took a walk when it was coming down pretty hard. Super FUN and exciting for the all of us! After nap when Daddy got home we opened presents and decorated the Christmas tree. For dinner we had beef tips and rice (one of her requests). Then we sang with the birthday monkey and ate one of her cakes. We had a GREAT day celebrating the birth of our sweet little Happy Hannah! I will post birthday party pics soon :)
